Strange this as the Netweather radar is showing rain over Darlo but its most certainly snow and its sticking to some surfaces

Yeah marginal but the right side of marginal for snow fans starting to stick to the trees now

I am still among those hoping for the colder scenarios to verify, rather than the milder ones. I must say, though, that I would strongly welcome a warmer spell if it involved a fair amount of sunshine, rather than a grey south-easterly regime with daytime maxima struggling to near average and night-time minima above average.

I've been having an unexpected accumulation of snow in N Yorks recently which bodes well for lying snow on Monday/Tuesday.

Best 2 hr snowfall iv'e seen in years.gritters out but the main roads have 2cm of slushy snow all over them.forget the grit, get the blade down and push this stuff intp the verge.

Really?? Surely we've seen more impressive falls this year, let alone 2010!

try up here, you live in the tropics compared to this location.still going flat out a good inch accumulated and looking at the radar the heavier precip will turn to snow as it rolls in.

proper snow this, lovely outside with a ground temp of 0.2c and flat calm.
