There must be a good 10cm+ in Pensby on the Wirral, just been to visit my dad, strange because 3 miles away towards the coast here in Moreton theres not a lot although its coming down thick and starting to stick. Just shows you what a difference of 80m elevation makes.

Approaching 15cm here, but thats what 20 extra metres does for you.

It's definitely snowmageddon!

Can't tell whether its actually snowing as there is so much drifting. Snow blowing off the fields in sheets, running across in a line and spinning like a tornado. So strong in the gusts that it nearly blew me over, and anything not tied down is taking off.

It's been a while since I've seen spindrift, your in a fantastic location for snow whichever direction it comes from.

The band looks like it's dying according to the met office rainfall radar

I agree, although Metoffice said it would intensify this evening and overnight.

Yep, really surprised how much there is around here, looking at the traffic cams around the region it looks like we are getting the most if it! Now that's strange! Sticking nicely here too now it's gone dark. :)

Yep another couple of hours and most of us will be dry by the looks of things.

I hope your plants are OK Stephen. I remember some late snow falls when living in Liverpool in the 70's and 80's but no prolonged cold outlook like this.
