It's back well if you click on the link saying you don't want to wait for the refresh. So the steps are login click on the link to go directly in without waiting and you're straight back to the login box. Latest firefox.

There have been no changes to the system for logging in of late, if it's happening at that point the most likely explanation is that you're clicking at about the same time it would have refreshed, and that would definitely log you out again.
