16th May 2005: First main BBC weather broadcast using new graphics

16th May 2005, the day, the BBC Weather centre introduced the new graphics. Remember the kick up over the angle the UK was at?

I've never liked the new graphics. There's still too much of a slant IMO, plus a huge expanse of mainland Europe is displayed for some reason.

 

The colours are still ghastly as well, ugh.
