I thought I would share an image I took back in 2009 of the weather station we used whilst deep in the Jungle, near a Macushi village called Surama, Guyana in South America.

The Macushi People are indigenous People of the Amerindians. It was great to live along side such wonderful people deep in the jungle. Learning from them, their forest skills.

Guyana has the most natural and untouched tropical rain forests on the planet, with creatures near extinction in other parts of South America but in abundance in Guyana.

We had thunderstorms most afternoons and well into the night, but sadly under the forest canopy it was hard to watch a good storm.
