A glorious end to a great summer, up there with the excellent summers of years such as 1983, 1989 and 2003.  Dry with long sunny spells and feeling fresher than recently.  Maximum 20.7, minimum 14.5.  Wind light NNW.

 

Yesterday: dry and very pleasant with sunny spells.  Maximum 22.7, minimum 15.2.  Wind light N.

Clear spells last night, breezy but a lull before dawn sharply dropped temperature from 13c @ 0300 to 6c by dawn.

Sunny intervals to mid afternoon then sunny, cooler and fresher than of late, moderate to fresh NW breeze.

Clear and very cool this evening.

Sunny to start, but sunny intervals since around 11am with some cumulus clouds edging in on NNW winds.

 

Warm in the sun, cool in the shade. .

 

More in the way of sunshine from late afternoon to end a good summer on a high.
