The last week of October 2008 was unusually cold with some of the earliest season snowfalls in the south for years.

Countryfile forecast on the 26th October indicated how cold the coming was going to be.

On that wintry mix Posted Image  It turned into 3 to 4 hrs of heavy snow in Birmingham on the 28th and over night minima of -3 Posted Image

 

And even London had a covering

Exceptionally cold and snow for the end of October,won`t be forgetting that in a hurry,coldest and most snow I`ve seen for October,more that most Novembers.

Cold started later on the 27th with some late snow,then with 3 inches by the 30th.Posted Image
