Here is Tomasz warning of the risk if wintry weather for overnight Saturday

21st November 2008

22nd November 2008: Susan Powell firms up on the risk. We had some snow here which partially laid.

3rd December 2008: snow threat is firmed up. If I remember rightly, the snowfalls across Scotland were overestimated? I'm sure Matt Taylor was sent to Stirling in Scotland to do BBC Breakfast weather broadcasts expecting snowy scenes. Instead, it was green!

That weekend at the end of November was excellent: perennially foggy with temperatures barely scraping zero.

I missed out on the early December snowfalls though. Damn you marginality.
