Hell freezes over: Galatasaray's crunch clash with Juventus abandoned due to extreme weather
 
The Champions League Group B showdown between Galatasaray and Juventus has been abandoned due to heavy snow. Extreme weather at the Turk Telekom Arena in Istanbul saw the game begin with an orange ball, but play was halted just after the half-hour mark as the markings became covered with the score still 0-0.
 
The groundstaff tried in vain for 20 minutes to clear the pitch, only for officials to eventually give up hope of the game resuming and call it a day
