A mild but windy start to the day. It seems at the moment the days are upside down with Max temps bein g around around midnight.

clouded over after midnight with the lowest T value then at 0.5C with a lot of white frost on cars, roofs etc, now on 4.6C with about 3/4 cover of cloud, still fairly dark but much of it looks like upper cloud layers

Some clear spells overnight with ground frost forming, melting and reforming several times with the variable cloud and southerly breeze. Turning cloudy around dawn. At observation. mainly cloudy, damp, misty.

The fog lifted by late morning allowing a few watery intervals of sunshine, but staying chilly. Well before sunset ground frost had reformed.

A dry night with clear spells but hill fog developed during the early hours and has persisted ever since, apart from one or two brief spells when it lifted a little.

A mainly dry and overcast morning with light rain arriving around midday.

A cloudy and increasingly mild afternoon with intermittent light rain. This morning's hill fog lifted to mist or just poor visibility by about 1400 but there were brief spells when the cloud lowered onto the hills again. A breezy day but with remarkably little variation in wind speed, mostly between 17 and 22 mph.

Freezing fog by midnight, lifted into low cloud in the early hours accompanied by a rise in temperature.  A misty and rather damp start, with cloud gradually thinning during the day to give intervals of hazy sunshine in the afternoon.  Maximum 10.1, minimum -0.7.  Wind light SE.
