    A mild and quite windy night with a couple of bands of heavy showers following the frontal rain late yesterday afternoon. After midnight it was mainly dry with clear periods and just one or two light showers.

    Dry with sunny intervals in the morning after a blustery night with heavy showers; the showers returned in the afternoon merging into a spell of heavy rain this evening.  Mild and windy.  Maximum 12.2, minimum 3.9.  Wind fresh S.

     

    Yesterday: clear frosty start, soon clouded over with light rain from lunchtime onwards.  Maximum 7.8, minimum -0.5.  Wind light SW.

    Some heavy showers and a thunderstorm 1245 -1315 with some hail, FL within 1 mile, loud thunder and torrential showers. Mostly cloudy today. Strong SW winds gusting over 50mph. Less windy this evening.
