Moderate to heavy rain continued until around 22:00 GMT last night. Clear spells developed before midnight allowing a ground frost to form through the early hours. Sunny so far this morning, ground frost.

The evening saw continuous moderate to heavy rain.

Moderate rain until around 2230 yesterday evening then dry with cloud clearing to allow a ground frost, and an air frost below 300 mts. Thick fog developed for an hour or so after dawn but rapidly dispersed as the sun rose.

Currently it's dry and sunny.

After the wet end to the day yesterday, today started cool and bright, sun out, wild wind from last night has calmed and 6.3oC at present.
