It's the same with dogs, "breed standards" have a lot to answer for, as they nearly always are detrimental to the health of the animal.

You've only got to look at a picture/drawing/painting of a 18th/19th century Bulldog to see how different they were back then; much healthier, more athletic and, in my opinion, much better looking animals before they were bred to have stubby legs and a short snout that causes breathing issues.

It should have been put down, to put it out of its misery. Let it's tiger soul venture off to a more peaceful place. Turpentine park must however be receiving some fortuitous publicity and donors by keeping the "freak show" that has become Kenny alive..( but not really wel )l. That is an equally concerning ethical line which I think has been crossed.

I am really against these backyard animal breeders, they seem to be able to get a license very easily. Whether it's exotic animals or common domestic. It's not only the sheer number of unwanted or unhealthy offspring which end up being euthaniased ( often illegally ) but also the mother which becomes a nonstop breeding machine.
