Discussion: Intense and heavy showers have developed in the southeast and East Anglia this morning, with reports of large hail already reported. Hail and thunder are also likely as is flash flooding during the most intense downpours.

In addition, heavy rain with heavy downpours is moving across Central and Northern England which may bring some localised flooding.
