Now this is clever and helps sighted/non-sighted people the same, and could save millions of £££'s in a very short time with perfectly good food being thrown away.

 

The label  gets "bumpy" at the same time the food goes off thanks to gelatine having the same shelf life being part of the tag.

I don't normally pay attention to dates on food anyway. If it looks/smells/tastes fine then it's usually a green light to me! People are far too eager when it comes to binning perfectly good food just because it's gone past a printed date.

That is why this new "device" could help with the huge amount of food waste that is fine to consume/use.
