Another cold night tonight, but there is a major change on the way with severe gales, even storm force winds on the way for north western Britain by Wednesday driving heavy rain at times, and delivering blizzard conditions over the Highlands of Scotland along with wintry showers and some hill snow for northern England, N Ireland and north Wales.
