Little bit of Upslope to play with today, Mid levels look too warm to me for anything substantial but may get some Uk Style Thunderstorms to play with, not expecting much from today other than hopefully some small hail and HP Nature of Storms rolling off the Mountains.

Decided not to play today and headed to Norman for a knees up and wind down.

Hope you enjoyed your sabbatical. Some storms in E TX today and a more robust risk in KS Thurs/Fri.

Inadvertently core-punched a slow-moving intense thunderstorm just north of Wagon Mound (NM) yesterday afternoon - it sat over I-25 for quite some time, and dropped copious amounts of hail. Needless to say the traffic became almost stationary, some cars slid down the side banks with others struggling to grip. I believe they sent ploughs out once we'd passed through...

Temperature dropped from 24C to 7C, quite impressive! Hail fog started to form in places too...

Edit: Just drove back past the same section of I-25, still some hail on the grassy verges
