    Starting the day in Lubbock on what should be the last day in the Southern Plains for us this season before the long drive North for next weeks trough impacting the northern high plains, likely a repeat of yesterday but not as intense.

    No Internet access on the west Texas border unfortunately

    It's actually not surprising. Once you get West of the 214 it really is totally open and empty for miles on end.
