It's funny how the cam picks up a scratching/static noise a couple of seconds before the lightning strike.

Here is a clip of that Bardolino storm from earlier and there was rotation in the top middle at the start and i am pretty sure there was some sort of funnel/tornado off the scene, watch it and you can see the winds blow the trees from the left, then from the right.

Around 3 secs and then at 16 secs, you can see the water getting whipped up in a circular fashion

That's 100% a waterspout, and the same with tornadoes, if there is circulation at the base of the cumulonimbus cloud and circulation on the ground, then it is definitely a tornado/waterspout. There doesn't have to be a long tube for it to be one.

You lucky boy!

You can actually see the rotation right at the top of the screen at the beginning before it disappears out of the frame at 0:04 onwards.

Edit: With the left to right motion on the trees too, you can clearly tell that there is strong rotation there. A direct hit for the camera too!

I would have too!

The only tornadoes/waterspouts I have ever seen from webcams that are not from the USA are Chania, Greece and Vung Tau, Vietnam.

Have to say looks like Belarus, Ukraine and neighbouring countries could be at risk of some very big storms from Sunday and into next week, still time for it to change but has been showing for many runs now CAPE is through the roof and the storms that are shown to break out you would imagine would have every chance of becoming supercells. EB6F3D15-6708-4ECF-9C4A-3A9990D92F97.thumb.png.930c4e9b1c613ea9666f53f6276891b6.png832F4A09-22E9-46D2-98AA-E6A9BC141974.thumb.png.d94e931e6a52a8ce8e2ed8848ee337f5.png8272D9AF-354E-4646-816A-39D172CA4915.thumb.png.f679c1e55d24ea8981bc794f3b91ba04.png4F7E93D8-2799-4F50-9EF5-88A6428F5644.thumb.png.a031cf52d5ecc3ff7400f1a4028d399c.png7E21F07B-733F-403F-B422-52D69EFF8CDD.thumb.png.471623a2e6ac28a5c2aa60345b9ed01b.png2349EE9E-396D-4B27-B8E7-3DC859478C32.thumb.png.53d63c6473689a71c03defde179ee219.png82AF41FC-A3AA-470B-B20C-F7B24E267516.thumb.png.65fde7af00ed7632c73d4cb7e594aaf8.png64929D2B-5CCE-414D-87F5-B9855ABE5DD0.thumb.png.23deab2f0d587df8aab215c273b37e68.png
