todays storm prediction possibilities

although a fairly quiet start to the season, there are a fair few chasers appearing following the incredibly heavy rainstorms passing through the bottom of Texas overnight and morning.

Marginal for tornado excitement but some good flood footage when the chasers aren't in the food houses.

looks like we have a tornado warned cell south of san antonio

Just watching Kelley williamson on tvn at the moment trying to intercept that storm south of San Antonio which was t-warned

anyway,got some stills from friday evenings storms around Texas panhandle/Colorado and Kansas(2am our time)which was a late one for me,did not go to bed until 3:30 am

And the oil tank is still burning,was comfirmed to be a lightning strike on it,one local said that he heared a loud explosion from it

and they put it out

kelley williamson currently streaming a quite exciting rescue from a flood trapped HGV - its a freeway not a river!!!

 

saved. very brave, that water is flowing fast. The rainfall totals for the last 48 hours must be immense.
