Yesterday.

 

A good deal of cloud overnight, a little showery rain, rather warm. Cloud breaking up this morning allowing sunny spells. Becoming very, continued sunny spells, enough cloud at time to produce a few scattered showers, though none fell at this location.

Probably right 19.6C here in cloud the sun has gone so 22C in the sun will be about right. Now humid as well.

I think probably correct, John. The Davis on the roof mast here was reading 20.5c at about the same time as your reading so, allowing for the difference in elevation, a difference of 1.6c is not unreasonable.

thanks TM and Pit, it is something that occurs on hot days from mid spring to early autumn; usually it does not matter as the temperature goes on rising anyway, as it has today before the Cu developed with the odd spot of rain a bit since.

Re the highest=not quite that remains the 34.8C 22/08/15.(posted in the MOD thread)
