Bigger flakes of snow now odseved at the lamp post:yahoo:

still sleet though but the transition is taking place here and it's cold evaperative cooling:)

Well after all the drama the precipitation surely did reach Sheffield and it's heavy as well. However I'm at 150masl and it still seems to be heavy rain. 

Ive been sqinting at the street light to spot the snow flakes but they are very elusive!

Maybe it will change to snow.......

yea...hopefullly still a few hours left where it can still change more. The front is pivoting now though by the looks of it so it will soon start pulling away east. We need to be under heavy stuff or weve no chance

It's starting to pivot away from NW england now,maybe a few hour of oppertunity but not looking good.

still sleet faling here:nonono:

BUT there is renewed ppn to our NE,who knows.

but is still light.
