Just a real bug bear of mine really but would like to hear other peoples opinion, it has to be one of the most awkward outdated and user Unfriendly tools I have ever seen and shame on met office for not doing something about it

Hi Paul yours is perfect and you have created that with little or no money, it does grief me when you think of the money pumped into the MET that that's the best service they can give the public.

The Met Office website is a mess all round, to be honest.

There are so many freely available on the web that they probably feel their time is better spent elsewhere 

after all, a radar is factual rather than predictive. I want them to tell me what is going to happen and they won't be able to produce a radar which is any better than what is already out there.

They could by releasing more than just reflectivity data like they do in the US...I wish.

Its a ball ache sometimes to navigate, the warnings page (which is the most important after all, and surely one of the primary reasons that we have a publicly funded Met agency) is very often unable to view in detail, when you see the overview, and there are warnings in force, it doesn't let you see the detail, it just says 'There are no warnings in force' when clearly there are, and this doesn't just happen as they are updating their warnings, its still like it at 6pm sometimes.

Pretty sure it's kept in house for research purposes only. I've asked at work if it's possible to get it

Yes! The warnings page is an absolute dogs dinner.
