A spell of light to moderate rain cleared by mid evening leaving variable cloud overnight. Rather cloudy, bright spells this morning, feeling chilly. Cloudy and a distinctly chilly feel through the morning. The afternoon saw sunny spells developing so feeling milder.

Day finishing with a light shower and sunshine. Better than forecast yesterday and this morning they weren't sure how far east the rain would get. Morning started sunny then soon clouded over a few spots of rain then it died away again.
