Granada weather on this morning just said snow falling down to about 100m in showers from tonight.

I would of thought with icy stretches and snow increasingly to lower levels. I would expect to see warnings for at least slippery surfaces and Ice but I don't really know why they haven't yet..

And STILL  the metoffice flatly refuse to put any sort of warning out..even for tomorrow.

Latest EURO4 still not going for widespread accumulations at low levels by midnight tomorrow night, although shows snow falling widely to low levels.

Yep...uppers of -8 dews below zero.

Got soaked-through whilst taking a quick walk around town here at 11am, persistent heavy rain that looks to be orographic-influenced on the radar. Still keeping a eye on the SPINE race tracking, runners being routed away from the Pen-Y-Ghent summit overnight due to ice and frost that was still on the summit.

It is strange, shows a line of accumulation from N Wales all the way to The Wash but very little over Greater Manchester/ Liverpool area North.

Well..if we dont get any snow from this im out, time to give up and only come back when a strong easterly is progged at t24 hours, which going off the last few years will be quite a while.

Wind warning for Wednesday........Looks like no warning for the Region..... That is surprising.

I guess it is a very marginal situation with the wind coming straight from the Irish sea. If only it could be a degree or so colder.

Either way, it will rain on Wednesday due to that horrid low. I hope the wintriness later this week can be upgraded.

Yes, can only assume that is the case. Cold enough for snow to fall, but not settle widely

Dew points are sub zero.

It should settle.

Actually, looking at the latest euro 4. Snow is mainly on the hills and also east of the Pennines. West of the Pennines especially Manchester to the coast mainly rain. 

The heavier showers should still give some wet snow but I don't think it will settle.
