    Cloudy, dry after slight rain before midnight, 0.2 mm, the low was last evening but the lowest since midnight was 2.8 C, no ground frost after about 2100 last evening, temperature now up to 4.6 C. So the highest this time in the morning since the 5th.

    Mainly light rain continued until around midnight, becoming intermittent through the early hours. Much less cold than recent nights. Continued thaw of lying snow. Overcast so far this morning, continued thaw of lying snow, now only patchy cover, 2.0cm 50%.

    Very cold overnight, temperature dropping to -9.1c I the screen and -13.5c on the snow. At observation, sunny, temperature has risen to -7.2c. Shallow freezing fog. High and mid level cloud increasing through the day turning the sunshine hazy. Temperatures remaining sub-zero until early evening. Light rain set in around 18:30 GMT accompanied by a rising temperature and a slow thaw.

    Overnight sleet and rain removed all but a few patches of snow. Some light showers this morning then some more showers this afternoon. Less Cold

    Hill fog and light rain early this morning cleared by 0930 to leave the rest of the morning dry and cloudy. Moderate-heavy showers ( of rain ) arrived early in the afternoon and were followed by several light showers of rain and sleet after 1400. A slow thaw of lying snow until late afternoon when the remaining snow froze.
