    Overcast with a few flakes about after a very slight fall just before dawn, about 70% cover and well under 1 cm, coldest in the early hours with a low of -1.9 C mow on 1.0 C

    Clear and cold during the yesterday evening. Freezing fog for a while around midnight before increasing cloud brought snow and ice pellets from 0500. Dry and foggy for a time around dawn but another spell of moderate snow since 0730.

    Snow until 1100 followed by a mainly cloudy afternoon with one or two rain and sleet showers. The cloud cleared during the second half of the afternoon and by early evening it was clear with the lying snow starting to freeze.
