Sleet yesterday evening, then rain which was moderate-heavy at times around midnight. A rapid rise in temperature during the early hours followed by an equally rapid fall after 0330. The  fall in temp' ushered in a westerly gale for a couple of hours around 0400 but after 0500 the wind decreased rapidly. Weak sunny intervals and a few light snow showers so far this morning.
