Snow showers yesterday evening but dry by midnight and remaining dry for the rest of the night. Dry with one or two brief sunny intervals this morning; very icy in places too.

Turning very windy, and briefly milder overnight, spells of moderate rain last night and through the early hours, clearing before dawn. Mostly cloudy with light showery rain this morning, much less windy. Sunny spells and a few showers scattered around, feeling chilly in the wind.

The day started with freezing sleet and freezing wet snow making it treacherous under foot. Light showers died away by 7:30 and ice disappeared by mid morning. Dry with sunny spells from then until just when we had a light rain shower. Wind has increased slightly.
