Clear spells, widespread frost overnight. Turning cloudy through the early hours. Light snow setting in around dawn. At observation, light/moderate wet snow, light accumulation of wet snow and slush.

This morning so far, overcast, light freezing rain and sleet, icy in places underfoot. Further sleet and wet snow through the morning, this turning briefly moderate, though no accumulation. The early afternoon saw the sleet die out. A few cloud breaks appearing by late afternoon. Feeling cold.

Earlier snowfall has now ceased, around an inch of lying snow.

Cold and dull with a spell of sleet and wet snow around 10am that tried to settle but turned rapidly to rain, which has persisted all day. Maximum 4.4, minimum 0.9. Wind light N.
