Looks like the rain/snow band breaking up to the south of Hampshire/W Sussex. Not too bothered if it's not snow.

I'm still a bit confused about when tomorrow's snow is due. Met Office end it in the morning and have a sprinkling later on. Other models have quite a notable event at a different point in the day. Time to check HIRLAM and ARGEPE, they seem closest to the mark very often!

Do let us know! ? I want more lol

Right under the red echoes on the radar, but looking outside, it looks no heavier than its been all day

I'm close behind you at -0.8°C. I just about managed an ice day yesterday though.

Still hammering down here; fierce wind but could be heavier. Must be savage on Mendips and Exmoor

After an evening of pouring rain, I’ve just ventured outside and almost ended up flat on my back. It is lethal out there everything is coved in a thick layer of ice, even the house windows. Tomorrow morning is going to be an insurance nightmare...

That heavier precip appears to be edging closer to Bristol now

-0.3c here, but the rise has levelled out a tiny bit.  That's what I'm staying up for, but I think it's a lost cause ;)

I also had an ice day yesterday, but it would have been nice to get one in March!

Its embarrassing how little snow we got today in barnstaple ? it has been great to see all your pics though so thank you very much love em. Someone mentioned seeing little black bits in snow? Can say we have the same. All calm out now temps on the rise and a thaw of the weee bit of snow we got. Enjoy folks & for those who didn't get any i feel your pain. ?

Still belting it down with medium size flakes, drifts getting fairly high in places, easily a foot in height, probably more.

On the ground yes but it's now under a layer of ice from the freezing rain that followed.

Not managed one yet. Coldest day was yesterday at 0.8°C - I need another 1 hour and 18 mins to save my bacon!

Getting ice pellets mixed in now, with the wind it's a hell of a noise against the back windows.
