    Cold foggy with some overnight snow. Now foggy with odd spot of freezing rain

    -1.3c min thick freezing fog wind still from an easterly,been some freezing rain too.

    No overnight snow as it missed us entirely.

    Light to moderate snow turned to intermittent light rain through the early hours. Light rain at times this morning, fog developing as slow thaw commences, visibility <100 yards.

    Minimum temperature overnight -0.2∞C

    24-hour maximum 1.2∞C

    24-hour minimum -1.0∞C

    Minimum temperature on grass -1.0c

    Yesterday.

     

    Further intermittent mainly light snow overnight, just the occasional moderate outbreak, further drifting in the strong ENE wind. Another penetrating frost. Cloudy this morning, feeling bitterly cold.  Mist. Average snow depth around 12cm. 100%. Overcast all day, misty, slow thaw. Light to moderate snow set in around mid evening producing a further light cover.

    Non technical term for this morning=grotty!

    Overcast, foggy, ocnl mainly slight rain but the odd moderate burst, snow cover 1cm about 80%. Rainfall not reliable as still bits of slush in the guage, a low of 0.7, now up to 2.1 C

    Thick freezing fog all night, with freezing drizzle at times too. There was another period of snow from 2230 yesterday evening into the early hours which gave another 2cm of fresh snow.  Another brief period of snow followed around 0730 soon turning  to sleet and ice pellets and, since 1000, rain. Thick rime above 280m ( 7-13 mm thick ) Thick fog and a slow thaw at the moment with a current temp' of 0.3c.

    All the snow here gone by early eveing, thick fog all day and rain at times, The max 4.8 C, highest for a week. First day in 11 days no frost.

    Mainly cloudy with brief sunny intervals and a single light shower at lunchtime. Temperatures back to just above normal, and the last trace of snow melted by mid-morning. Maximum 10.2, minimum 3.9. Wind light S.
