Even as a retired professional the speed at which the snow has disappeared since about 1030 am has surprised me. Just very small patches left in the shade. My back garden was 95% covered with 3-4 cm around 8.15 am and now has just some patches, 1-2 cm in the shade. Had it been December into late January it would have been very different.

A very cold again although not as cold as previous days. Sunny spells have a resulted in a steady thaw but snow hung on very well considering it was melting with sub zero temperatures Saturday and a slush base on Sunday morning.

Max temp 4.6C now 2.9C, Barometer 1025mb rising, Wind F4 NNE, Rainfall Trace
