With storm chasing , patience is a virtue.  So the team waited and got a nice supercell for their trouble.  Its been a poor year for tornadoes. Strange there were seemingly two today ,one in Montana and one in New Mexico. Talk about splitting the differences.   Even odder was a tornado report yesterday from Nevada.

Today I have to say Kansas looks nice with a dryline and an outflow boundary in place.

Will have to wait until Paul wakes up and looks at the various options.

A stunning storm chase from Colorado into Nebraska today (23rd May), With some breathtaking storms. Main storms we chased where between Chappell and Ogallalla in Nebraska with some stunning lightning to finish the day off on a beach next to Lake McConaughy.

Big thanks to the team for there relentless hard work.

Thanks John    Brilliant photos , as always , nice to know you have retained all those photographic skills that I taught you when we sent off with our Kodak Brownie .  Interesting factoid Lake McConaughy  is locally know as Big Mac .
