    Low cloud and mist overnight, the mist thickening to fog. Visibility <300 yards this morning. The fog thinning to mist through the morning, a little brightness showing towards observation. Mainly cloudy through the morning. The afternoon sunny spells developing as the cloud thinned and broke up feeling warm and humid.

    Thick fog until 0845 g.m.t then a dry and cloudy morning once the fog had lifted. The cloud began to thin and break during the early afternoon and from 1300 g.m.t it was dry and warm with sunny intervals.

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
