    A dry warm start after an weak evening thundery shower. Cloudy as Thundery showers once again pass to the east of us.

    Mostly sunny with about 2okt clouds. 

    Very warm already: 25.7, dewpoint 16.

    Pressure 1008 falling slowly.

    Low last night was a very uncomfortable 18.1.

    Yesterday's max: 33.6.

    Hopefully touch 30 today to make it five in a row before the fresher air makes a very welcome arrival!

    Another exceptionally warm night with the record minimum temperature being broken for the third time this month. This time the low was 19.1C.

    It was mostly cloudy for the first half of the night before thunderstorms arrived early in the morning. These mostly missed us but we still managed 4.0mm of rain.

    Currently overcast with bright spells, a temp of 21.5C and extremely humid with a dewpoint of 19.7C

    A few large spots of rain around 1930 g.m.t yesterday as thunderstorms moved north to the east of here, other than that the night was dry and warm with variable cloud cover and further thunderstorms moving north a few miles to the east between 0600 and 0800 g.m.t today. Warm with clearing cloud and sunny spells at the moment.

    Clear spells overnight. Bright and sunny spells, cloud increasing towards observation. Quite a lot of cloud through the morning, though still some sunny spells, despite the cloud the temperature climbed rapidly. The afternoon, hot and humid with intermittent sunshine. The odd shower breaking out in the area, though only a short light one noted here.

    The met office site haven't updated their video now for 16 hours which is why it is still showing 37c when BBC is forecasting lower temps.

    Met Office are not usually this slow in updating their video are they?

    Another unpleasant hot day but hopefully the last for a while. Weak early thundery showers died away soon after mid morning. Now very hot humid unpleasant with sunny spells

    Went to bed around 11pm and it was still 25oC! 

    Temperature has just hit 31.1oC in my garden and humidity is 46

    Another very warm day and another mostly cloudy one been quite a bit of sun earlier as yesterday,early on could see the distant line of distant thunder clouds to the east NE.

    Other than that today has been another dry one max of 26.4c yesterday made 28c.

    Another 30+ C day after morning storms gave another 15 mm, a max of 31.4 C, 9 days over 30 C this month, the evening storms passed east of here with some light rain  at times do the total  is now 16.0 mm, 33.2 mm over the past 2 days 12.6 mm more than the whole of June, about  8 or 9 flashes to the east this evening along with rumbles of thunder
