Seeking fog

Hello, I love fog and I'm wondering where in the south of England would be the best place to find it.  I understand the east coast is particularly foggy.  Can anyone tell me how far south that fogginess extends (eg Kent?) and any areas with particularly heavy or frequent fog?  Also, how far inland from the coast does the fog extend, and does that vary significantly by micro-region?  Thanks!
