Hello all,

I am looking for some information regarding the sunniest spots (whilst still warm... 25c) in Europe during mid September.

I have been looking towards Spain’s east coast as flights are generally quite cheap but is this reliably sunny/warm at this time of year? Is southern (Malaga) better than northern (Girona/Barca)? Are there any other places I should be looking at?

Many thanks

I would say the further south the better. Costa del Sol, Med islands and Canaries are normally all safe until October. Even then though, east Spain and Balearics as well as Italy and Adriatic are prone to thunderstorms (great!) and leftover clag from time to time.

The Costa Calida is lovely in mid September, usually mid to high 20’s and sunny. Easy flights to Alicante and Murcia.
