A cloudy and mild night with the temperature continuing to rise during yesterday evening. Thick fog developed after midnight, accompanied by intermittent drizzle, and has only begun to thin a little in the last half hour.

The fog lifted by 1030 and the rest of the day was mild and dull. Light drizzle set in around 1400 and has continued since then.

After a very mild start it remained mostly cloudy with only a few bright spells. Temperatures peaked at 11.9C so basically average for the time of year.
