1984 sydney floods

Let me tell you about the great Sydney Flood of november 1984.  On the 8th of november 1984 Sydney observatory Hill saw 235 mm of rain in 24 hours with 196 mm falling in just three hours from 10pm. This heavy rain was caused by a small east coast low that formed off the coast which in turn spawned very tremendous thunderstorms over the center of the city.
