Freezing fog persisted until mid morning then dry with sunny spells. More fog this evening. Maximum 6.9, minimum -0.7. Wind calm.

Yesterday: dry with sunny spells. Maximum 9.5, minimum 2.2. Wind light SSW.

Thick fog until 1115 although the fog cleared overhead half an hour before it cleared horizontally so there was simultaneous bright sunshine and fog for a while. Once the fog had cleared it was a clear and sunny day. The temperature has risen to 4.6c since 1800.
