What is this ariel?

Hello. I wonder if somebody can point me in the right direction please? Tidying out a relatives and i have come across a new antenna assembly. It has four arms of approx 90cm long each and they join at a central point - so make an 'x' and  are able to rotate round the two mounting legs. The arms have holes in them - presumably to enable wiring to be fed through? thanks in advance for any replies

maybe its a cobweb/ spiderweb antenna or just the ground pane part off something else like a dipole
