Fog cleared away overnight. Widespread frost. Sunny and frosty start.

Yesterday.

 

Variable cloud last night gave way to a clear sky through the early hours, widespread moderate frost forming. Freezing fog formed briefly towards dawn, this thinning to mist for a time.

Shortly after the observation, thick freezing fog returned, vis <50 yards. Staying foggy all morning and in to early afternoon, temperatures staying sub zero. The fog cleared briefly mid afternoon allowing a little sunshine. The fog quickly returned towards dusk.
