There’s potential there. I’m not expecting much as I’m about as far east in the region you can get, but anything that does fall should hopefully be snow. Currently -1.1°C with the cloud and fog.

Very light shower, but nice fluffy flakes floating down ever so slowly in the calm

Got woken up by rain and ice pellets hitting the window. Mostly rain now although there is big shower moving in that is currently giving lying snow to the Colwyn Bay area of North Wales It is 2C currently dp is 1C

Heavy ice pellets. Sticking on the ground. 0.8°C. Got down to -2.3°C earlier.

This next shower is a bit more snow and ice pellets mix but temp is rising as warm layer is mixed down. Think I’m going to go back to bed.

Thick, heavy snow falling on frozen ground. Beautiful.

Those showers look very beefy. Looking good for Manchester in the next hour. 
 

Don’t seem to be a huge number lining up though?

Snowing in Chorley

I'm trying not to bang my own drum here. The feeling when the meteorology aligns to your initial thoughs is great though. I will always welcome criticism as I've a lot to improve on too

Yeh unfortunately looks like North Wales has taken most of the instability.

Your shower has actually intensified over the past couple of radar frames. Looks very heavy.
