Coming up to the first anniversary for this event for my location. Has anyone got data on this supercell? Soundings, how strong it was etc?

Remember seeing the radar and sferics when the storm was over Cheshire and I thought it was heading NWwards but instead it seemed to heading towards my location. Remember people commenting on this and saying something was afoot and it was a potential supercell on the forums

Could see the sky to my south getting darker and darker and I could hear thunder

Then the hail core hit directly with marble sized hail and the visibility dropped to next nothing with strong gusty winds. Didn't hear much thunder but the hail roar was phenomenal. I haven't seen a hailstorm that fierce.

It was an amazing event to experience.

Mid June 2020 had one of the best multi-day surface based thunderstorm outbreak for many parts of the Midlands in recent years alongside August 2020 and June 2023. Didn't require overly warm air from a plume either, just a cut off low meandering to the south west of the UK + peak solar heating right around summer solstice.

June overall lightning, a very thundery June for quite a few areas, also with some storms near the start and end of month (6th and 26th)

Some photos of mine during the spell 13th-17th June, though I wasn't really into capturing weather as much back then
