Berlin hits 85F in the shade!  Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnn from the suuuuuuuuuuuuun!  (Which sadly was not as hot as today's white blob)   You can't even be outside for more then 5 mins before being sunburned and I am not easily sunburned. Could run out for hours as a kid without sunscreen.  The atmosphere IS different today regardless of the cause.
