Proper snowy winter's day here so far, with a few cm on the ground and frequent heavy showers.

Will get time to watch it today as I had a +ve lateral flow this morning, just 2 days before the school holidays so timing sucks big time. This time last week I'd have been OK with that, especially as I don't feel unwell, but this morning I was all "£$%  "^"&&  *&^%%"

@Ravelin hope you remain well and nothing to bad for you.. showers have eased somewhat but its definitely a snaw day and cold with it...

Feeling just slightly 'off' so far and long may that continue. Snow here now melting at a rate in the sunshine. Not surprising as when I cleared the drive earlier, despite the air temp being cold, the sun made it feel pretty warm.

Wow this latest shower is really heavy, massive flakes and blizzard conditions. Still settling quickly in the heaviest showers but soon melting once the intensity is gone..❄❄❄

Another winters day of heavy snow showers with brief interludes of sunshine.  Currently 3c with a light northerly wind.

The height of the sun at this time of year allowing the light to provide some dramatic cloudscapes, especially when a shower is approaching you.  With height though comes solar intensity so the snow is melting rapidly when the sun appears.

0c start with a dusting of snow  but mostly sunny this morning with a north wind for the first time in 4 months as have been rtying to burn prunings of atumn from garden to blow smoke away from farmhouse..A big shower on just now with half crown flakes. Currently 3c

Very heavy showers still that stick instantly but then melts just as quick.. now the sun is down a few very heavy but very short showers have covered everything white again will it be another snaw morning tomorrow??

I have rather enjoyed this evening watching the showers on the radar and then looking out the window to watch the snaw falling.. a splendid few hours indeed...
