    A dry and mainly clear night until well into the early hours but thick fog developed around 0500 g.m.t and has persisted since then.

    Clear spells overnight, turning foggy just after dawn, visibility down to 100 yards at times. The fog lifted to low cloud by late morning. The afternoon saw the cloud thin and break a little allowing a few sunny spells.
