Notifications stopped again

Browser notifications have stopped both on desktop and my mobile for some reason?! They were working fine.

I've deleted all cookies and re-enabled notifications in the settings, but it hasn't made a difference.

There's a couple of possible things at play. One is a bug in Chrome/chromium in Android 13 which has messed up permissions. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app should sort this.

Second thing is a bug on our side which had recently come to light that, by the looks of it, can randomly reset the notification settings and @Karlis working on a fix for that currently.

We have a new version ready to go live early next week which will fix the notification bug. It's working well on our staging server currently, but we're going to test across a few more days before release.

Any news on notifications?

A number of fixes went live earlier in October. Are they still not working for you?

I only get the notification number appear, a silent notification. The desktop notifications don't work, neither do the mobile ones.

Which browser are you using currently?

Edge.

But, It's the same on Brave, Chrome, Maxthon. Anything that uses the Chromium code.

Odd, I know we want to make further improvements to the system and have an updated version in testing but it's generally working fine for most users right now. There is a particular scenario which you could be running into in that it may fail when alerts are set across multiple devices. Sorting that is part of the update which we're testing at the moment.

All I know is, I was getting notifications pushed to my phone via Samsung internet browser, and Edge browser on my PC, then they suddenly stopped.

I get notifications from Reddit, YouTube etc, and from a mountain bike forum I use, so I know it's nothing my end.
