A few short showers around midnight followed by thick fog. Moderate-heavy rain arrived from the south by 0630 and has continued since then. The fog lifted at 0900 but it's remained overcast and misty.

update on my report at 1035.fog cleared by 0800 and slight rain from about 0820, pretty continuous after 0900 with some moderate bursts, 3.0 mm so far, temperature=12.9 C

Morning rain died away by lunchtime then a dry cloudy afternoon only a few brief sunny spells. Skies now clearing but a band of thundery activity not far away. Average temperatures by day after a rather warm start

Max temp 15.1C, now 13.6C, Barometer 994mb steady, Wind Calm, Rainfall 11mm

Early rain soon cleared then dry with sunny spells until mid afternoon. Clouded over with a spell of thundery rain followed by more showers this evening. Maximum 18.7, minimum 10.9. Wind light S.
